Plant Press is a Substance Designer utility node for Foliage Artists to create atlases for their assets, quick and painlessly. Simply plug in up to 4 different cards per node and let Plant Press take care of compositing your maps for you!

Plant Press enables the artist to develop their foliage atlases in a matter of seconds, completely non-destructively and modularly. You can use the output of one Plant Press as the input of another for total atlas control.

  • Changed blending mode to "Copy" for Leaf Mask network for more consistent experience
  • Added ability to input Custom Colour & Custom Grayscale maps for user workflow flexibility

  • 2D Alpha view is now solid cutouts, instead of the inflated padding falloff

  • Added Normal Map mode parameter, to properly rotate the normals for OpenGL maps

  • Padded pixels will no longer tile across the 0-1 texture space

  • Forced bit-depth output to 32F for higher fidelity textures
  • Re-worked Bark material transformation to accommodate new system
